Revealed- Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0
The new 4.0L produces 50 more hp than the 3.8L one in the GT3 RS. Porsche claims a 0-62mph time of 3.9sec for the 1360kg 911 GT3 RS 4.0. The GT3 RS 4.0 will only be sold in white and will cost £128,466. This replaces the regular GT3RS and only 600 will be made, probably because the new 911 comes out this Autumn.

New York Motor Show- Facelifted Kia Soul
Kia has unveiled its facelifted Kia Soul at the New York motor show. Revisions to the latest version include the introduction of a new six-speed gearbox available for the UK and new engines. The new 1.6-litre petrol engine produces 138bhp and 121lb ft of torque.

New York Motor Show- Subaru Impreza
The new model, which has been revealed in both hatchback and saloon forms, takes some styling cues from the concept that was shown at last year’s Los Angeles show. The US-spec Impreza is being launched with a normally aspirated 2.0-litre flat four powerplant that offers 148bhp at 6200rpm and 145lb ft at 4200rpm. It replaces a 2.5-litre motor in the US market and delivers a fuel economy gain of about 30 per cent.
New York Motor Show- Jaguar XF
The 2012 XF which goes into production this July has been given new front-end styling, tweaks to the rear, extra safety features and also changes to the interior and sound system. Diesel XFs also get a new eight-speed automatic gearbox. There is also a arrival of a new four cylinder diesel engine, which also gets a new stop-start system.

Shanghai Motor Show- MG5
MG has unveiled one of the early stars of the Shanghai motor show: a new Focus-size hatchback called Concept 5. MG hasn’t issued plans for production.

Citroen DS5 revealed
The five-door hatchback is 4.52m long and 1.85m wide - so considerably shorter and slightly narrower than a Ford Mondeo. The DS5 is the first Citroën to offer the firm’s Hybrid4 diesel hybrid tech, which offers 200bhp through the combination of a 163bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel motor and a 37bhp electric motor on the back axle. The final production models will be offered with alloys in sizes ranging from 16in to 19in. The DS5 is still a year away from UK sales; it should arrive in spring 2012. Expect it to carry a premium over top-end C5s, with prices starting from between £25k and £30k.
New VW Beetle launched
The new car is 1.808m wide, 1.486m tall and 4.278m long; that’s 84mm wider, 12mm lower and 152mm longer than the outgoing version. The engine options will be three turbocharged petrol units, with 103bhp (1.2), 158bhp (1.4) and 197bhp (2.0), and a pair of turbodiesels with 103bhp (1.6) and 138bhp (2.0). VW’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission will be offered as an option; in the mid-spec petrol it returns 47.9mpg and emits 139g/km of CO2. But the greenest petrol model will be the 1.2; equipped with stop-start and battery regeneration, it will return 51.4mpg and emit 129g/km CO2. The diesels manage 65.7mpg and 112g/km (1.6), and 57.6mpg and 129g/km (2.0).

Aston Martin Launches in India
Aston Martin has now opened its first dealership in Mumbai. The dealership will have the entire Aston range, including the V8 Vantage S and the Virage. Aston Martin now has 134 dealerships in 42 countries
New Land Rover Defender project begins
Land Rover has begun work on a new Defender. A concept will be ready by 2013 and cars are expected to be rolling off the production line in 2015.
BMW reveals new 3cyl engine
Titled ‘The new BMW EfficientDynamics Engine family, the three cylinder will effectively be half of a one of the company’s new generation 3.0-litre straight-six engines. The new 3cyl will be a 1.5litre engine.
Rolls-Royce makes a £50k Mini
The 'Mini Goodwood' features a bespoke cabin whose spec was overseen by Rolls-Royce interior designer Alan Sheppard. It features elements synonymous with the Sussex-based luxury brand, including walnut burr veneers on the instrument panel and door pulls, Corn Silk beige leather on the fascia, centre console, seats, door sides and pillar trim, and deep lambswool fleece carpets. Underneath all this, there still is a normal 181bhp Cooper S engine.
Audi Q3 at Shanghai Motor Show
The new Audi Q3 has been revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show. The Audi Q3 is set to go on sale in November. Prices are going to start from £25,000 for a 168bhp, turbocharged 2.0-litre front-drive model. The Q3 is based on the same structure as the Volkswagen Tiguan. The car looks the same as every other Q SUV in Audi's range.
