Revealed- Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series
Mercedes has revealed a new 622bhp SLS ahead of the Los Angeles Motor Show later this month. The SLS AMG Black Series is outwardly distinguished by series of exterior styling changes that serve to provide it with a distinctly brawnier appearance than the standard SLS AMG. 70kg of weight has been shed making the overall weight of the SLS Black 1550kg. The Black Series can do 0-62 in 3.6 secs, 0.1 seconds faster than the SLS AMG GT, and a top speed of 196mph, 3mph slower than the AMG GT due to the Black's increased downforce.

Revealed- Special Edition Jeep Wrangler and Compass
The Jeep Compass Black Edition gets gloss black accents including the step pads, 18in alloys, front grille inserts, roof rails, headlamp and fog lamp surrounds. It will be available in four-wheel-drive configuration with Jeep’s 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine, which delivers 161bhp and 236lb ft of torque. Based on the Sport trim line, the Jeep Wrangler Mountain will be available as a two-door or four-door. Exterior features include a black ‘Mountain’ decal on the hood.

Fastest Mini Ever
Mini has unveiled its fastest-ever production car, the Mini John Cooper Works GP, at the Mini United festival in France today. Although Mini has yet to reveal specific performance details for the race-bred, two-seat machine, it has lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 8min 23sec. The Mini John Cooper Works GP should produce in the region of 220-230bhp.

Mini Clubvan to be built
Mini will build a production version of the Clubvan concept it unveiled at the recent Geneva motor show. The official announcement is in June, production following shortly afterwards. The Clubvan features two seats, a bulkhead to separate the load area from the passenger compartment and opaque rear side windows. It will also provide a fully lined load area.

Beijing- MG5
The MG5 has been revealed at the Beijing motor show, just under 18 months ahead of its UK debut. The five-door hatchback will go on sale in China by the summer.The C-segment-sized hatchback gets angular headlights and pronounced creases along the bonnet and front wings.The Chinese market model will be powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine producing around 105bhp.

Beijing- Rolls-Royce Ghost Six Senses
Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Rolls-Royce Six Senses concept at the Beijing motor show. The bespoke luxury model “ignites the senses for sight, taste, touch, sound and aroma”, as well as the sense of “surprise and delight”, according to the firm.Interior features of the car include a Walnut Burr veneer, soft grain leather seats and headlining and deep pile lambswool rugs. Standard equipment on the Six Senses comprises an upgraded audio system, panoramic sunroof, a drinks cooler with etched drinks flutes and a luxury bespoke luggage set.

Beijing- Audi A6 e-Tron
The Audi A6 e-Tron has been revealed at this week's Beijing Motor Show. A6 L e-tron is a parallel hybrid which mates a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, developing 208bhp with an electric motor with peak power rated at 95bhp. In electric mode, it can travel at up to 37mph.Audi refers to the plug-in hybrid technology showcased today as the next step in its e-tron programme.The A6 L e-tron is fitted with MMI navigation-plus, which has been modified to recognise 29,000 Chinese characters.

Beijing Motor Show- Seat Ibiza Cupra
The new Seat Ibiza Cupra has been revealed at this week's Beijing Motor Show in China. The new front-end features a new design for the grille, air intakes and bumper. Seat says the result is a lower, wider stance. The Ibiza Cupra also boasts new LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights and cornering lights integrated into the large fog lamps. The three-door concept rides on 17in wheels. It is finished in bold Crono Yellow paintwork and gloss black is used for trim. The production Ibiza Cupra will be on sale before the end of the year.

Beijing- Jaguar XJ Ultimate
The new Jaguar XJ Ultimate is the most luxurious – and expensive – version of Jaguar’s big saloon ever launched. Engines include the first application of Jaguar’s new supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol. The existing supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol and 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engines can also be offered. It will cost around £128,000 when it reaches the UK in November.

Beijing- MG Icon Concept
The Icon is based on the SAIC ZP platform that also underpins the MG3 supermini. SAIC is keen to spin multiple models off the same platforms, and believes a small sporty SUV is a logical next step for the brand .
MG didn’t officially confirmed the Icon’s engine ahead of the show,but it is likely it will be the new SAIC 1.5-litre turbo. The direct-injection unit boasts 135bhp and 148lb ft, and will feature in the MG5 in China before the end of the year.

Beijing- Porsche Cayenne GTS
The Porsche Cayenne Gts has been revealed today at the Beijing Motor Show in China. The GTS will slot between the S and Turbo models. It will mix a more powerful version of the non-turbo V8 motor from the Cayenne S with the body-kitted styling of the range-topping Turbo model. 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 5.7secs, compared with the 5.9sec of today’s V8 S, and the top speed is slightly higher, at 162mph rather than 160mph. The new Cayenne GTS will be priced from £67,000 in the UK — a £12k premium over the Cayenne S. It will go on sale from July.

Beijing- Audi Q3 RS
The RS Q3 concept uses a highly tuned version of the 2.5-litre five-cylinder found in the Audi RS3 and TT-RS. Power is increased in the turbocharged TFSI unit by 20bhp to 355bhp. Chinese characters are used on the tachometer.

NY- Lincoln MKZ
The 2013 Lincoln MKZ saloon has made its debut at the NY Motor Show today. Three engines will be offered at launch. The entry-level 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine produces 240bhp and 270lb ft of torque. Lincoln says the engine “delivers the performance of a traditional V6 along with expected segment-leading fuel economy that is at least 3mpg better than the closest competitor”. A 3.7-litre V6 produces 300bhp and 277lb ft, 37bhp and 28lb ft more than the engine it replaces. Both engines are fitted with a six-speed auto. Front- and rear-wheel drive configurations are offered.
NY- Chevrolet Impala
The 2014 Chevrolet Impala has been revealed at today’s New York Motor Show. The all-new model is the tenth generation of the model, which was introduced in 1958. Three engines are offered: a 2.4-litre Ecotec engine producing 182bhp, a 195bhp 2.5 and a 3.6-litre V6 which will produce an estimated 303bhp. All engines are matched to a six-speed automatic.

NY- BMW M6
The BMW M6 convertible has been revealed at this year's New York Motor Show. The convertible, which costs £98,995 when it goes on sale in the UK in September, shares the M5's twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine and seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox. The new M6 convertible weighs 1980kg (50kg heavier than before) but posts official times of 4.3sec for 0-62mph and 13.1sec for 0-124mph. The improved performance is allied to reduced fuel consumption, which is rated at 27.4mpg with emissions of 239g/km.

New York- Mercedes GL
Mercedes is promising ‘S-class levels’ of ride comfort from the second-generation Mercedes GL luxury off-roader, which has been unveiled at the NY Motor Show.
Almost 100kg has been slashed from the kerb weight. The GL-class is expected to reach the UK towards the end of this year.

NY Motor Show- Acura ILX
The production version of the Acura ILX has been revealed at the New York motor show, with its maker pricing it to attract new premium brand buyers and tempt people away from established brands such as Audi and BMW. Engine choices for the Audi A3 rival are 2.0 and 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engines, and a 1.5-litre hybrid, which is the first from the company.

New York Motor Show- Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai has revealed more details about the next Hyundai Santa Fe at the NY Motor Show. It is expected to target improvements in refinement, design and practicality over the current model. The new car, which sits on a modified Hyundai Sonata platform, is longer, wider and lower but sits on the same wheelbase as its predecessor. The new Santa Fe will go on sale in the UK in the last quarter of 2012, with prices expected to start at around £25k. The existing model currently starts close to £20k. All UK models will be four-wheel drive. Engine choices are yet to be finalised, but it is expected that the 2.4-litre and 3.3-litre V6 petrol engines won’t be coming to the UK.
