Mini Clubvan to be built

Mini will build a production version of the Clubvan concept it unveiled at the recent Geneva motor show. The official announcement is in June, production following shortly afterwards. The Clubvan features two seats, a bulkhead to separate the load area from the passenger compartment and opaque rear side windows. It will also provide a fully lined load area.

Geneva 2012: VW Cross Coupe Concept

A frugal version of the VW Cross Coupe concept has been shown at this week's Geneva Motor Show. The concept preview the next Tiguan. It is a plug in diesel electric capable of 157mpg and 47g/km of CO2 and a range of up to 800miles. It has 380bhp in total and has a top speed of 137mph. In full electric mode it is capable of 28 miles and a limited top speed of 80mph.

Lexus LF-LC concept

The Lexus LF-LC sports car concept has been leaked ahead of its Detroit motor show debut next month. Lexus has confirmed the images are genuine and says the concept “takes the new Lexus design direction one step further”. The LF-LC previews a luxurious new 2+2 coupe that Lexus is known to be considering for production. The futuristic styling of the car evolves the L-Finesse design language for Lexus’s production cars, seen in its latest more aggressive guise on the new Lexus GS and to make it onto next year’s new Lexus IS.

Frankfurt Motor Show- VW Beetle R Concept

A Volkswagen Bwwtle R has been revealed at this month's Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. It has been descirbed by VW as the 'sportiest Betle yet'. VW says it could have as much power as the Golf R (266hp) and the Scirocco R (261hp). If they did make this Beetle it would appeal more to a masculine audience.
